Slow Cooker Apple Spice Dump Cake
Last Thanksgiving I decided to try a new recipe for our dessert! I kept seeing this recipe all over Pinterest and other social media platforms. So I decided to give it a try! This Slow cooker dump cake was simple and tastes so good! With a prep time of only 10 minutes, it makes dessert time even easier.
Ingredients
2 cans of apple pie filling
1 box of spice cake mix
1 stick of butter
2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
Instructions
Spray your slow cooker lightly with no stick cooking spray. Pour apple pie filling into the bottom of your slow cooker.
Next, sprinkle the cake mix all over the top of the apple pie filling and add the cinnamon.
Place the stick of butter on top and cover & cook for 2 hours on high.
Scoop out and serve with your favorite topping such as whipped cream or ice cream! This makes about 6 servings and optional ingredients can be 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans.
Top your ice cream with cinnamon! YUM!
